The transmission called ROBO-SIX is a Powershift type. The ROBO-SIX transmission includes five robotically-activated ranges and comes with as standard, six Powershift speed gears governed by a dedicated electronic controller. Once the operator has chosen the engine speed, the Smart APS (Smart Autopowershift) system allows the ROBO-SIX transmission to automatically select the most suitable range and speed gear. Another new feature is the Stop&Action system which integrates the declutch function into the brake pedal, allowing the ROBO-SIX transmission to provide a smoother ride.c. In addition to the exclusive Dynamic versions with their highlevel specifications, there are Active models which share the same top quality transmissions and engines but come in with entry level features. Governed by the Data Screen Manager (DSM) system, the software has also been upgraded and now includes additional functions: a rear view camera to improve visibility over implements hitched behind the tractor and provide more information in the transport mode, advanced headland management functions and additional information from the tractor's onboard computer.

A new Semi-Active Cab Suspension with electronic controller able to modify shock absorber firmness to suit changing terrain conditions has been introduced to enhance operator comfort to an even greater extent and improve the quality of life and working conditions in the vehicle.
The “Lounge Cab” is a true technology lounge that allows the operator to work the tractor with maximum ease and comfort. Designed to offer a safe, stress-free working environment for long hours in the field, this four-post cab with flat-deck platform and rear-hinged doors offers easy access to the driving position and unequalled all-round visibility. The air suspension seat features a multi-function armrest that houses the main tractor controls and the telescopic tilt-adjustable steering column is designed to tilt with the instrument panel. The cab is pressurized to keep a clean, dust-free environment and the highly-efficient automatic climate control maintains the desired cab temperature whatever the outdoor weather conditions. To further increase operator comfort, an electronically-controlled hydraulic cab suspension system is available as an option. The driving position is ergonomically designed and equipped with easyto- use, logically-arranged controls. The cab interior features an automotive-style fit and finish and comes standard with radio with USB port, Bluetooth, MP3 player and four loudspeakers for the maximum comfort of operation. The cab is further equipped with modern and stylish interior and exterior LED lights.
The new F.P.T.-Nef 6-cylinder turbocharged engines fitted on the 7 Series tractors feature 24 valves and a cylinder displacement of 6728 cm3. All models are equipped with an electronic high-pressure Common Rail fuel injection system and deliver 145 to 225 hp, providing powerful and reliable performance in any working conditions. Advanced electronic control systems ensure optimum clean combustion and compliance with the Tier 3 emission standards, while maintaining excellent fuel economy and delivering 40% torque rise. In addition to this, the Dual Power system, combined with the engine electronics, allows for automatic increase of both power and torque for PTO and transport operations, when needed. A cast-iron chassis mounted on rubber shock absorbers supports the engine to eliminate any load and torsional stress on the front axle, resulting in reduced noise and vibration levels for improved engine reliability and durability.
